New Member Process:
1) Interested volunteers should email Team Administration to determine if their skills are needed on the team
2) If Team Administration has directed you to complete an application, click on the PDF form and submit
3) Prospective members will need to register with the Colorado Volunteers web site, selecting ColoradoSTAR as the
unit to join
4) Colorado Public Health Department will accomplish a background check and verify credentials
5) Team management will approve select applicants (a phone interview may be accomplished)
6) Successful applicants will need to provide ICS-100 and ICS-700 certificates
7) POST certified individuals will need to provide a copy of their current Colorado POST certificates
8) Provisional Team Membership, secure web site access and team email list server will be conveyed to successful
applicants
